This is one of my favorite times of year: Just when the leaves have peaked and are falling and the weather is perfect. I always love this location, and best of all we beat the rain! As we went all around Furman University finding cool places, Anna and Matthew could not have been sweeter. I am in love with those sweater-weather days, so of course I was in love with their outfits that fit the location perfectly. I honestly don't tell engaged couples what to choose to wear because they do such an awesome job on their own! Enjoy some favorites from their gorgeous fall engagement session!

I don't normally do blog posts this close together, but school just got out for Thanksgiving break today!!! Meaning, tonight I rewarded myself with finishing up the adorable session (yes, editing photos is a reward when you're a busy college student!). This family was so fun and sweet! The older daughter probably asked me 50 times if she could take some pictures with my camera. Of course I let her try a few! Maybe her parents will get her a camera when she's older (hint, hint ;)). I adored their fallish/Christmas-y colors and am so glad I got them in before the colorful fall leaves were completely gone!

About two weeks ago I had mini sessions for families wanting Christmas photos. Every single family was absolutely amazing and so sweet to me! The Arrowood family was no exception! I have known them for a year or two now and they are always so kind and welcoming to everyone they meet. They are absolutely adorable and their outfits were perfect. Martin Family | Family photos

I absolutely loved working with this sweet family for their mini session. From the minute they came out of their minivan to the moment they left, they were so incredibly nice to me (especially for it being 9:30am). Plus, their little one didn't make a peep for most of the session! Such a chill little guy :) Besides their kindness to me, my second favorite part was that there was frost on the ground (one of the first frosts of the year!!)!!! The sun was still rising and I adore the light during sunrise.This definitely is a favorite session!!
