Kristina & Brian | Engagement

I met Kristina & Brian on a chilly Saturday morning in downtown Greenville. We decided it was a little too cold and windy to stay outdoors, so we went into a little shop downtown and asked if we could use their space for some photos. Postcard from Paris kindly obliged and we began the shoot. The natural light was wonderful, and the random pieces of furniture and chandeliers were dreamy. I am looking forward to working Kristina & Brian again on their wedding day! Thanks again to Postcard from Paris and designer Linda Mcdougald for letting us use their shop in downtown Greenville!

Aaand we braved the cold for a few shots before running back to Starbucks! :)

Brittany & Braden

It has been about half a year since Brittany & Braden said "I do," and I was honored to take their photos. Braden will be finishing up his service in the Army shortly, so Brittany contacted me for a session to capture him in uniform and have some wintry photos. What you can't tell here, is that it was below 30 degrees! Now mornings in the 20's are FREEZING for any southerner! But somehow they managed to to make it look like a beautiful, comfortable day without being dressed like Eskimos. The sun was at a beautiful spot, and I am in love with all the colors. Here are some favorites from their mini session!

Brittany you are beautiful!

Alyssa & Eric | Proposal

I was out shopping when I got a call from Eric's mom asking if I would photograph Eric and Alyssa's engagement the next day! I was so excited! Early the next morning, the trail was made with notes and roses for Alyssa to follow when she arrived, and the pictures were hung along the trees she'd walk through when she reached the end of her search. We rehearsed where I would hide (the neighbor's deck) and made sure I couldn't be seen, and then the excitement began! Alyssa arrived and we all ran window to window watching her follow the trail of notes and roses. When she was at the rear of the house, we went out the front and I took my position on the deck, while Eric stood waiting at the end of the trail to meet her. The rest is history! It was a beautiful proposal, and I was so honored to capture it! Congratulations Alyssa and Eric!!

Along the trees were photos framed starting with their first date, and ending with their most recent date!

Eric was smiling so much while waiting for her!
Waiting for her on a bench covered in Christmas lights was more roses!

Look at her face!!! <3

After the excitement, we went back inside and then came back out for a few more photos.
